Vancouver Harbour Tour – 1 hour
See Vancouver from the eagle’s view! Whether you are visiting the area, or a local exploring from a new angle, you will love this trip. We take off from the Fraser River with the peaks of Golden Ears Provincial Park to the north. We cross over Indian Arm, a deep glacial fjiord just north of the Burrard Inlet and travel along the Northshore mountains before sweeping over the Salish Sea (Howe Sound) and the Georgia Strait for views of the Vancouver skyline and famous beaches and harbours from every angle. Ocean, bridges, cityscape, mountains…you won’t be able to decide where to point your camera! All Vancouver tours must return to the river by posted sunset time.

PILOTS! Flight-seeing with YVR South Terminal Pick Up
Make this layover one to remember! Pilots, we will pick you up for flightseeing! If you would like to experience the thrill of float flying, hop into the left seat of our dual yoke-equipped Cessna 180 for a float lesson while you tour Vancouver and the BC Coastal environs. Our training pilot will pick you up at the Seaplane Terminal of South Terminal YVR and take you out for 1 hour. Split it with a buddy!

“On the Step” West Coast Pilot For A Day – Full Day

Experience a day in the life of a West Coast seaplane pilot “on the step” and from the left seat! This remarkable trip is the ultimate tour of the southern BC Coast and packs in a ton of float flying experience and sightseeing with one of our working pilots as your coach and tourguide. The day starts with pick-up at the dock at South Terminal Vancouver, or you can take off from the Fraser River in Fort Langley. Bring a guest if desired – preferably one with a camera! Throughout the day you will access training and learn about the history and topography of the best of the breathtaking BC West Coast as we take off and land on rivers and high mountain lakes, experience beaching on shorelines, landing at coastal docks and flying over Vancouver Harbour. We’ll travel to Vancouver Island for lunch in busy Nanaimo Harbour and fly home over the Salish Sea with the eagle’s view of BC’s Southern Gulf Islands. This incredible trip includes five hours of flying time over an eight hour day. The ultimate trip for floatplane lovers, aviation buffs or folks just looking for the ultimate West Coast tour. $2500.00 includes up to 2 people.

Canadian Bush Pilot Tour – 3 hours
Fly in the iconic De Havilland Beaver #12, the first Beaver built for civilian use. This plane is the quintessential Canadian explorer, a workhorse designed by bush plane pilots for bush plane pilots! We’ll head out to Thomas Lake, a 25 minute trip over the Fraser Valley, above the Golden Ears peaks, crossing over Tingle Mountain with a view of Tingle Crater. Accessible only by air, you’ll disembark onto British Columbia’s Coast Mountains – a famous wildlife area. A quick hike will put you above the treeline. We pack an elegant picnic lunch for you from a local bistro in Fort Langley. Knosh and kick back for 2 hours of quality time before returning to our base on the Fraser River. This may be the first chapter in your Great Canadian novel.

Golden Ears Mountain Tour – 30 min
Spending the day exploring Fort Langley? Take-off from the Fraser River at the Fort Langley Air base in our Cessna180 or DHC-2 Beaver floatplanes. Cruise over Pitt Lake, following the valley behind the Golden Ears mountains to Alouette Lake, and then back to the Fort. Make a day of it and enjoy a meal in Fort Langley village, or explore the Fort Langley National Historic Site.

Head out across the Georgia Strait and the Salish Sea to the Garibaldi mountain range.Garibaldi Mountain massif and Black Tusk stratovolcano are two iconic peaks that await in the southwesterly edge of the Pacific Range of the Coast Mountains. Bonus, you will transit Pitt Lake, Indian Arm (Deep Cove) and downtown Vancouver. A photographer’s dream trip and a rare chance to see receding glacial ice from the air.
